Skiing In Spain
New for 2025 – 2026 and going forward enjoy skiing in Spain with Real Retreats.

Skiing in Spain – how does that work!
Not everyone is aware that in Spain the Sierra Nevada mountains rise to 3,300 metres above sea level. At that altitude in winter it snows. With snow, it is possible to create ski runs and the Spanish have done that. This is well-kept secret. How the Real Retreats ski package works.
(Another secret – I have always made the summer packages tailored to the group that week, we have never had one which followed the itinerary as laid out on the website – but that is fine. The website is a starting point to provide ideas as to what is possible).
Saturday arrive in the afternoon and relax at 17 Carratera de Lucar, Cela Lucar (my place) where we will have dinner in the evening.
Sunday we have a tour of a vineyard – it will not be snowy!
Monday we travel to the Pradollano ski resort about 1 hour 40 minutes where we spend the day skiing. I will be acting as your guide. In the evening we sleep in the resort at a B and B.
Tuesday more skiing and me guiding
Wednesday more skiing and me guiding
Thursday morning we ski and return in the afternoon to my base.
Friday is a Spa Day
Saturday depart.
The ski resort offers more than most ski resorts for any none skiers with many restaurant bars and shops.
During the week the ski resort runs well below capacity, Friday, Saturday and Sunday there can be queues for the lifts but not so Monday to Thursday. Because of the altitude the resort enjoys a good snow record and there are many blue sky days. You should definitely pack your sun cream.
Who would this suit?
Maybe a couple where one wants to ski, and the other is less interested in sliding down a mountain.
